BANDRA WEST, MUMBAI, INDIA 11/12/2019 - Tuk Tuks - or Auto-Rickshaw as they are more properly named, provide cheap and efficient transportation to millions of ordinary people in Mumbai. There are around 250,000 of them in the city with the newer models running on CNG bottled gas), making them environmentally friendly. Many major nationalized banks in India offer loans to self-employed individuals seeking to make a living from driving an Auto-Rickshaw. The black and yellow vehicles are like bees swarming through the chaotic traffic. Drivers don't so much adhere to the lane markings; they simply make another line, so a three-lane thoroughfare can easily become a six or even seven-lane one.

As well as being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, every day over 1,250 local and long-distance trains pull in and out of its 18 platforms.
